Castellex Air 390

The Castellex Air 390 is a fully equipped NBC air filtration station working on the positive pressure principle: pressure in the protected room is raised slightly, so harmful substances cannot enter with the natural draught of air.

Three filters are supplied — a pre-filter, a specially impregnated carbon filter and a HEPA filter. The carbon filter captures all known warfare gases, radioactive iodine and iodine organic compounds, volatile organic compounds, acidic gases and biological agents.

The model suits more than fixed installations. It is fitted on ships sailing unprotected waters, in war zones or areas of heavy pollution, and in armoured and working vehicles operating in hard conditions. It also suits private, commercial or public buildings where vulnerable people need protection from exhaust fumes and other pollution.
